Larissa Goldiger has been a member of Verein Nihaona for almost a year. In July, the medical student will travel to Madagascar for the first time and visit Maventibao to complete a volunteer placement at MadaClinics.
But she won’t be arriving empty-handed: Larissa has collected donations to purchase an ultrasound machine for MadaClinics. The aim is to improve diagnostics and medical care.
She presented her project at this year’s general meeting of Verein Nihaona. The project is scheduled for completion in this summer. The device will be presented to the clinic team on site. Training courses are currently being organized so that the device can actually be used in the clinic.
